I’m Hezron. I’ve authored and illustrated seven books of my own and have illustrated books for several other authors.

 

Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and raised by a single mother, my motivation for writing children’s books comes from a desire to share my life’s lessons—often earned the hard way—with the developing minds of future generations.

 

Drawing and storytelling have been intrinsic parts of my life since childhood. This passion has stayed with me through every twist and turn of my life. I earn a living through this talent as a professional animator, illustrator and tattoo artist, owning a tattoo shop in Norfolk, Virginia, where I currently reside.

 

When I’m not expressing myself in one art form or another, I’m probably somewhere on two wheels catching some wind, or tucked away at a fishing hole casting my line while mentally gearing up for my next creative endeavor.
